@KNA

Arrived this morning to Karlskrona after a long agonizing ride with the buss from Stockholm via Malmö?! Then train the last way, to Karlskrona. Tired but it was only 10:20 A.M. so I went to the hostel, checked my stuff in, and walked a few hundred meters to the main attraction of the day! MARINMUSEUM. This is really one of the better museums I’ve ever visited, mainly because of my interest of the fantastic achievements of ancestors
within the area of naval history.

This really is THE naval town in Sweden, prospected to be the future capitol when it was built and with its strategic position surrounded with the archipelago of Blekinge it sure could be, but Stockholm claimed that one ☺.

Anyway have to go to bed now, school tomorrow!

Sayonara Swedavia!

Today is my last day at Swedavia i.e. the company I’ve been working at for the last two years. I basically sold my sole to this company this summer by signing a 100% work schedule. Was it worth the effort? Money yes, Social-life P.O.V. BIG NO NO!

Working at an Airport is stimulating in the way of meeting loads of different types of stupidity. I’ve registered peoples behaviour and came to the conclusion that; Aviation make people a bit strange, they tend to forget how to think. The very moment they step into the departure hall I see a child thinking: where are my parents…oh I’ve just got blind!?

Exception to all business travellers, somehow they tend to know where the check in-area is located, where the security check is and surprisingly they know where the gates are!! ALL BY DEFAULT!!??

In the area of Assistance (my area of work) some people are just spoiled and lazy, telling me the excuse: “This is the first time I ask for a wheelchair… because my feet ache and it’s to far to walk”. The real heroes are the real disabled people, the ones that wish no more than to get their legs working again and to burn that Otto Bock chair!

What have I’ve learned from this field of work?
Coffee kills sick early mornings!

Anyway many of my co-worker are heroes! From the ladies at the information-desks, the guys on the floor to the cute gals from the recruitment-companies in the halls pointing the right way. They work with this fulltime, that’s impressive stuff and I’ve also met new lovely friends.

Was that all?
I think so, no wait!
Experience is everything wouldn’t trade it for anything!

Want to work at a cool place? Arlanda Airport is the place to apply!

Being cool back in school!

This Fall I will explore the exiting area of application development, and this in a new and exiting environment i.e. Hyper Island!

Mobile Appications is the name of the 60 week program and offers a 16 week internship in any of HI many friend-büros! Located in the MarineTown #1 in Sweden i.e. Karlskrona I will move there within a few weeks notice. A new smaller town, but I'm pretty used to this change since I've been living in Kalmar(a few clicks north of Karlskrona). I think this fits me like the glove!

Anyways I will let you all know whats happening down there, right here on this blog! Ciao

New microphone, New sound

Hello today I bought a New microphone to my Sanyo VPC HD2000 and I must say that the feeling of the sound scrolls like butter. Its a RØDE VideoMic and it's bigger than my camcorder!!!...looks pretty wierd...anyway I will also use it for screen/podcasts so it will come handy for other things than just for filming.

In Swedish, I basicly demonstrate the differences between the builtin microphone and the RØDE VideoMic...cheers!
